By booking with Maha One Way Taxi on our website, by phone or on WhatsApp, you accept these terms. Please read them alongside our rate card, cancellation policy and privacy policy.
Enquiry versus booking
Pressing Check fare is an enquiry only. A booking is made when you press Confirm booking and we then reach you by phone or WhatsApp with the driver and car details. Give correct pickup, drop, date, time and contact information; we cannot be held responsible for a missed trip caused by wrong details.
How fares work
- Fares are estimates built from road distance and the per-km rate of your chosen car, as listed on the rate card.
- A one way trip is billed on at least 130 km, a round trip on at least 250 km counted both ways, and an airport ride on at least 30 km.
- Driver bata is added once on a one way trip and for each day of a round trip.
- Toll plazas, parking, state border and permit charges and hill charges are paid at the actual amount where they apply.
- Kilometres beyond the planned trip, including extra stops and detours you ask for, are billed at the same per-km rate.
- The final fare may differ slightly from the estimate if the real route or distance differs.
Payment
We take no advance. You pay the driver in cash or UPI when you reach your drop.
Changes and cancellation
To change the time or cancel, call or WhatsApp us with your booking ID as early as possible so the driver can be reassigned. If a driver has already set out for your pickup, we may ask you to cover the distance actually driven. The cancellation policy has the details.
Cars and passengers
- Cars are listed as "or similar"; the exact model can differ within the class you booked.
- Please keep to the seating and luggage capacity of the booked car.
- Smoking, alcohol and unlawful items are not allowed in the car. You are responsible for damage or cleaning beyond normal use caused by you or your group.
- Our drivers obey traffic law and may decline a request that is unsafe or illegal.
Delays and liability
Journey times are estimates. Traffic, weather, road work, check posts, ghat closures and festivals can slow a trip beyond our control, and we are not liable for loss caused by such delays. Our liability for a trip is limited to the fare paid for it, as far as the law allows. Keep valuables with you; we are not responsible for items left in the car, though we will help you recover them where we can.
State borders and hill roads
Trips into Kerala, Karnataka or Puducherry may need border or permit payments, and some hill roads such as the Nilgiri and high-range ghats can carry extra charges or timing rules. These are paid at actuals, and the driver handles them on the way.
Governing law
